This veteran of Roots Rock Reggae has had a career filled with hits since the beginning into the music industry. As a member of the African Brothers group that also includes singers; Sugar Minott and Eric Bubbles, who won on the Tony Mack talent show at the Pink Lady Club in 1973, fame and fortune were destined to come his way. After the group broke up in 1979, Tony Tuff went solo and was successful with his hit, “Deliver me from my Enemies”, for channel One recording studios.The song, which was an anthem to the oppessed people went to the top of the local charts where he received exposure across Europe and Norh America. Another hit through which he received recognition was for the monster song, “Saw you down the lane”.
Traveling the world and spreading the music that he loves has given him many awards and rewards. Now working with singer producer Alphanso Hencle Wood on his King Shark label promises to be fruitful.
